“Oolah” which stands for Oceans of love and happiness.

Came about by a Ocean loving surfer girl who was born and bred at the beach in Whangamata.

Her parents owned one of the local surf shops. Her dad handcrafted there colourful fabric in-layed boards, (no plain white one’s to be seen), most days were spent at the beach, all of this fuelling their love of the ocean and the happiness that it brings. Being the eldest sister of three, the girls grew up surfing with their friends, Mum and Dad both for fun and competitively.

After being lucky enough to travel and have adventures for both work and play to some of best places in the world, her surfboard crafting partner and herself settled in Western Australia’s South West and set up shop.

Settling in this small coastal town didn’t stop this girl from doing what she loves most. She’s constantly seeking the next destination where she can surf fun waves, find fresh tracks in the snow, or mountain biking in the forest. Healthy nutrition, keeping fit and the ocean are her way of life.

Thank you for visiting.

Sending Oolah wherever you are. Amber x
